Like stepping into Korea, instantly I was taken back to my time in Korea. The buzz in the area, the laughter of friends sharing drinks, the decor quirky but normal for a korean resatraunt, the smells powerful and mouth-watering, and it only got better. If you aren't interested in true authentic Korean food, go to the hot pot down the street because this is NOT the place for you (your bad reviews because you are used to bland or super sugar loaded american chinese are not comparable). My soup was piping hot, beautiful clear broth, not greasy or fatty, mild savory beefy flavour and the beef was very tender. The spicey chicken kabobs were good, on the tougher side from the glaze and grill but very flavourful and perfect with rice. Wish I lived closer, ill have to make this a roadtrip stop in the future.

Amazing. Fantastic. Literally the best kimchi I've ever had. I had spicy ramen and my husband had beef bulgogi. INCREDIBLE. Wished we lived closer. After having been to about 10 cities in the last 3 weeks, this has been the best restaurant so far. Will visit again soon!!

I have been here a lot of times recently! Which means that I tried various menus here! And the picture that I provided is the best menu so far.1️⃣ Sundubu Jjigae is not too spicy and not too mild and it has good flavor.2️⃣ Bossam is good toooo!!I tried different restaurants Bossam but this restaurant Bossam is the best because they have their own flavor.3️⃣ Chicken Skews was really superior too!4️⃣ 고니탕 (Goni Tang), was nothing short of spectacular. The broth was rich and aromatic, with a complexity that spoke of hours of careful simmering. The meat was tender, falling off the bone effortlessly, and paired perfectly with their homemade kimchi, which added just the right amount of spice and tanginess.I wish I could describe food better😅

This is some authentic Korean food, it was absolutely delicious, I only have one complaint we were served potato salad and pasta salad with mayonnaise as a Korean side, I thought this was very weird ((I went with a bunch of white people so I think they just assumed we would rather eat that than the other sides other people were given)) other than that the meal was great and the server was very helpful and kind his name I think was Jay.

Came in close to closing time with my family (8:30). The servers still seated us and insisted on us dining in. We were prepared an amazing meal of kalbi, glass noodles, and bulgogi. On top of this, the owners are very kinda people who know how to make truly authentic Korean food. Ms. Kim came to our table and talked to us about her amazing kimchi and how she makes it everyday fresh. Overall, this place is amazing and genuinely a stop for anyone who likes or wants to try amazing Korean cuisine.

FAQs

How do you get attention in Korean restaurant? ›

In Korean, you can call a waiter/waitress by saying “저기요” (jeogiyo). This polite phrase is commonly used to get the attention of restaurant staff. It is important to note that Koreans value politeness, so using this term is essential when interacting with service staff.

What do they say when you walk into a Korean restaurant? ›

Waiters in Korean restaurants typically greet customers with "어서 오세요" (eoseo oseyo), meaning "welcome." They might ask you "몇명이세요" (myonmyongiseyo) which translates to "how many people?", so they can assign you the right table. If you need anything, you can call the waiter by saying "저기요" (jeogiyo).

What to say when you leave a Korean restaurant? ›

When you leave a restaurant, you can say 잘 먹었습니다. (jal meogeotsseumnida ) to the staff to say thank you for the meal.

A restaurant experience in South Korea is different from Europe or the United States, in that a tip is never expected. In much of Europe, restaurant service is a predictable percentage that is included in the bill (service compris), which isn't done in Korea.

How do Koreans eat so much and stay fit? ›

They follow a well-balanced diet

From protein to carbs to fat, a healthy Korean diet consists of all, but in a well-balanced form. Besides, Koreans are also very particular about portion sizes. They avoid overeating and also incorporate physical activity in their day-to-day routine.

How to eat low calories at kbbq? ›

Opt for cuts like beef tenderloin, chicken breast, or seafood, which are lower in fat and calories but high in protein. Protein is essential for muscle repair and maintenance, and leaner cuts can help manage calorie intake without sacrificing the satisfaction of your meal.

What is the leanest meat at Korean BBQ? ›

The leanest KBBQ meats include beef sirloin, chicken breast, and pork loin. The leanest meats for Korean BBQ are the same as the lean meats you would eat in other cuisines.
